DEFINITION
The Concept of Technology.

Technology can be the knowledge of techniques, processes, and the like, or it can be embedded in machines which can be operated without detailed knowledge of their workings
ICTs in Education

ICTs in education stand for information and communication technologies and are defined, for the purposes of this primer, as a “diverse set of technological tools and resources used to communicate, and to create, disseminate, store, and manage information.”  These technologies include computers, the Internet, broadcasting technologies (radio and television), and telephony.


The Use of Technology in English Teaching and Learning

The use of Technology in English is an ideally placed to help teachers working with learners, and learners working independently, to do the necessary ‘languaging’ that makes their language development possible. 1.    The Concept of Technology
According to Kumar to a physical component with comprises of items such as products, tooling and equipment, the informational component which consists of know-how, the other definition by sahal, consist to the views technology as configuration observing that the transfer objects, for me is very interesting this definition: there are two basic components, first knowledge or technique and doing things. Technology is connected with obtaining certain result, resolving certain problems or completing problems.

First of all ICTs are not certain magic wand that educationist can shake to fix the educational challenges faced in the current knowledge society. The interesting things about ICT into teaching and learning is not a new concept. The technology based but generally it is the most facilitative as a result of providing relevant examples and demonstrations, change the orientation of the classroom, increasing flexibility, increasing access and satisfying demands. 


3.    The Use of Technology in English Teaching and Learning
The use of English has increasing in popularity so has the need for qualified the teachers to give the give the instruct students to learn in the language. Now in the school the stereotyped traditional teaching methods and environment are unpopular the student normally to like very much the technology and all the days using different machines, while multimedia featuring audio, visual animations, and use access to information besides, with such characteristics as abundant information.

I can talk about, to cultivate student´s interest in study  because the motivation in study and their involvement in class activities, also to promote student´s communication capacity especially activities as group discussions, subject discussions and debate can also offer   more opportunities for student´s communicate your ideas, to improve teaching effects because multimedia teaching enrich teaching content and make the excellent class, and the other hand to improve interaction between teacher and student, in the traditional way teachers in the classroom no longer blindly input information and force students to receive it in a passive way. And finally, to provide flexibility to course content because in addition, multimedia teaching is also flexible
